The law in the country allows each parent within reason, time with their children if there has been a break up with the parents. The parents custody rights are set out by laws to protect each parent to make things fair with the up bringing of their child or children. It is only fair that if parents split if their relationship is not working, their children get the best of both parents throughout their life as it is not their fault after all that the couple brought them in to this world and couldn’t work it out. It is so distressing when parents decide to split and actually act selfishly as they are out to get revenge with the partner they are leaving and are so wrapped up in the revenge scenario that they forget totally about the childs feelings and needs! The main thing in the break up is to make sure the child is okay and is reassured that both parents, what ever happens, are there to give love and full support to them.
